wild swim fridays sounds like a great idea – i used to have a regular swim safari going on wednesday nights, when we’d all quit work on time and drive down to the thames for a summery swim,. totally recommend it

Congratulations on swimming the Gulf, I saw a feature in our local paper, I swim in the Sound of Jura nearly every day, would love to swim the Gulf but feel I might not be a strong enough swimmer. I started sea swimming 18 months ago and love it. Thinking about getting a wet suit although it feels like cheating… Once again, really well done on swimming the Corryvreckan, great achievement, I’ve been through the Gulf lots of times (by boat) and know how scary it is. sea swimming has gone wild here on the Isles of Scilly in the last year or so here – a load of us are just about to do our beach lifeguard ticket so we can organise some events
