Chris recommended getting in touch with you re the work you are doing. I am a yoga teacher, working with surf action using yoga, surf etc to help to deal with PTSD. I also work with people with multiple sclerosis, and am keen get involved with working with young people with mental health issues, using yoga and relaxation techniques to help them to de-stress, release tension and raise self confidence.
I am not sure if this is something you would be interested in working with but please let me know!

I’ve found quite a marked effect of surfing on (WHO-fife) wellbeing and emotional wellness scales,- what I am struggling with at present are control groups (the onset of general ( i.e. NON SURFING, indoor) exercise, or a week of holidays might well have significantly contributed to those effects on surf-school novices…). I was wondering if you’d know any of gyms, pools or other exercise programmes that might be willing to try to run my questionaires with new members (before they first exercise, and then follow ups after a week & a month)…
As you are probably aware, controls are vital if you want to be taken serious:
Never mind if you can’t help,- most businesses seem to struggle with the recession & are worried to loose customers over additional paperwork exercises these days,– I might have to do it without controls in the end.
I think I just picked the wrong year to do this…
